The only people who defend Logan Paul or like him in the first place are young kids, who won't understand or care about the dumb shit he says or does as long as they like him.
JonTron has a solid demographic of older people as well who when he says dumb shit, actually care.

The Paul's have already been a punching bag since they blew up on YouTube post Vine and never made good content or had an order demographic to begin with. Everyone was, and is going to continue to make fun if the Paul's until they're irrelevant.
JonTron was considered upper tier for quality, had an older demographic, and wasn't seen as a complete joke already so naturally when he says something many people see as stupid, and he doesn't even apologize or take any of it back, certain people aren't going to let it go.
Both of their careers are fine from their controversies as well so who even cares. I don't understand the point of this topic.

They took their vlogging equipment into the infamous "suicide forest" in Japan trying to find a dead body, they found a dude hanging and proceeded to crack jokes about it, show his hanging corpse, including his face, comment that he still had shit in his pockets, left a bag on the ground, sarcastically joked about how they'd never be the same after what they'd seen but intentionally said it with a sarcastic joking tone, plugged his merch in the video, was still all hyped up and energetic when they found the body and after they left. His face practically lit up when they found the body like "we're going to get so many views!!!1!", they even put the dead guy in the thumbnail of the video.

They intentionally went looking for a suicide victim, found one, cracked jokes, and used it to gain views/attention.

Personally, I'm not offended by any of that. He's videotaping something and providing commentary. He is creating entertainment that people are free to watch or not watch. I don't even know who this guy is, so I'm definitely not a fan trying to stick up for him.

That dead man is someone's child, sibling, friend, etc. and some douche put his dead hanging corpse in his YouTube video for views while cracking jokes about the guy and plugging his merch to buy. I'm not offended by it, but that's a piece of shit move.
