Nobody likes System Shock esque games anymore. Bioshock is not System Shock, and it never was no matter how much it tried to parade itself as being a "spiritual successor." And I like Bio 1 and 2, for that matter.

What were the expectations? Usually sales expectations are wildly overblown. I remember reading that Square considered Tomb Raider a failure because it didn't meet some insane number.
