That would only be like, 40-45 dollars.

And since I am paid bi-weekly that would add up to around an oz each year, which right now is 1,300 dollars worth.

Then you would have a portion of your wealth invested into gold.

Buy titanium instead; I heard that it is valuable and also I think it is necessary as a catalyst in some important chemical reactions.

It would take forever to fill a money-bank and then what are you going to swim in? (Overlooking that diving into a pool of money would likely result in serious injury.)

Your insurance premiums would probably go up, depending on where you're planning to store this gold.

Id rather periodically buy a small precious gemstone

Theyre not as valuable but you can keep them in a little chest and act like it is long lost treasure

Man no im talking bout

https://www.apmex.com/category/19320/1-gram-gold-bars-rounds

However right now the price is higher than i quoted in the OP. But it would still be feasible. But I havent done anything yet cause IDK. Lowest price there is 49.97 if I paid with a check. Prices will of course rise and fall every day.

I know what they look like. They brother bought some silver ones... which he wound up never using for anything and finally just misplaced. *Great* investment on his part >_>

You won't ever make any serious profit investing in precious metals unless you can buy it by the hundred thousand. Invest in digital currency instead. Other than Bitcoin, I highly recommend investing in Ethereum and Ripple for maximum gains.

Well silver isnt too expensive so i can purchase fairly normal amounts.

with gold that isnt feasible so id have to stack the smallest bits.

my silver stack is up to around 22 ounces. woo

Stagnant also means stable, which is pretty nice if your currency is volatile.
