At the start of the game you have a guaranteed 4 star servant you can pull. I rerolled until I got Elizabeth a lancer, you landed on Emiya an archer. You can level them up and increase their HP and Attack by using "Ember cards" which can be gotten from under "Chaldea Gate" -> Daily Quests -> Ember Gathering. You are just starting so you will not be able to beat the 30 AP or 40 AP yet. Each hand enemy drops and ember card. You get bonus xp if you use an ember card of the same class as your servant, otherwise you get less xp. Spidey5 01/02/18 9:39:53 PM #263:	Some more basics Primary classes Archer beats Saber, Saber beats Lancer, Lancer beats Archer Secondary Classes Rider beats Caster, Caster beats Assassin, Assassin beats Rider Berserker is a glass cannon that beats everyone, but also gets beaten by everyone else Ruler is a tank that takes half damage from every primary and secondary class but is strong against no one except a certain extra class. Shielder is completely independent and doesn't do double damage to anyone nor takes double damage from anyone. Completely neutral. She is a fantastic tank, but she is locked behind story progression for leveling so she can't do too much for a long time. That should be all the class info you need for now. Well, the process for rerolling at the start of the game for a servant you want (including 5 stars) is play the game up to the point where they give you an extra 30 saint quartz (after you roll for a guaranteed 4 star) and use those to roll what you want. The guaranteed 4 star servant at the beginning limits what can be pulled from the gacha. But the one after that does not. If you don't like what you got, you should be able to reset the game and redownload and try again, but it takes a fuckton of time. I never bothered because all I wanted was the guaranteed Liz. But with a strong support servant you can definitely do some of the ember gathering missions and power up your current servants from level 1.
