Do you think so? I've seen other posters on this site say that cops just have to be super aggessive if they want to get shit done, do you generally believe this? That if a cop was super nice, so to speak that he wouldn't get shit done in most cases?

you don't think in most cases they will get better results if they're more aggressive when doing their job?

It depends what type of cop and the situation. For example, I'd expect a homicide detective on an active case to conduct themselves differently than a traffic cop issuing a speeding ticket.

I think that'd give an awful hit rate taking in people on bare minimum circumstantial evidence.

A good person can be dedicated and obsessive, however maintaining a good outlook is draining when dealing with people who are fearful/angry toward your profession, particularly when you're putting the extra effort in not to arrest innocent people.

Why do you keep asking leading questions? You're just looking for validation for your opinion.

I used to be a police officer. Generally speaking, nobody is happy whenever a police officer has to show up for something. When you deal with that kind of negativity all day, several days a week, it takes a toll on you.

This in my opinion. Different situations calls for different attitude/approach. I can only assume/hope social skills are part of their training. At the same time I can understand cops have their own lives and possibly families to be concern about. I wouldn't want them approaching every situation like they're walking on egg shells only to get hurt in the process because said culprit was a real threat.

Ipc skills are a full training process we go through. Presence matters a lot. I am built like an NBA player and am known in my area because I train fighters and fight myself, so I'm normally joking and respectful.

My partner is a small female with g cup boobs and a pretty face, she normally has to be colder and more serious.
She puts up with way more attitude than I do.

"The whole Good Cop / Bad Cop question can be disposed of much more decisively. We need not enumerate what proportion of cops appears to be good or listen to someone's anecdote about his uncle Charlie, an allegedly good cop.

We need only consider the following:

A cop's job is to enforce the laws, all of them;

Many of the laws are manifestly unjust, and some are even cruel and wicked;

Therefore every cop has to agree to act as an enforcer for laws that are manifestly unjust or even cruel and wicked.

There are no good cops. - Robert Higgs"

Bwahahahaha, just think about how insufferable the law abiding public is and how much a cashier or retail worker who has to deal with them on a daily basis hates them. Now imagine a cop who has to deal with literal scum and its a miracle people aren't shot more.
