nope. they were actually in the game code but never implemented. some mods added them but they swung like everything else. Spears stab, they don't slash.

tbh, when you asked, I couldn't remember either. Granted, I certainly would have remembered if there had been since I probably wouldn't have bothered with blades at all if I had a spear... although I mostly used a bow anyway.

Actually a lot of spears are meant to have some form of cutting function. Leaf shaped blades on the spears are built for that purpose.
