they probably will someday. i'm surprised they haven't done the PT yet. the shows been pretty meh lately but doesn't look like it'll end any time soon.

They pale in comparison to the Robot Chicken specials. Green is the visionary and MacFarlane is the phony.

If they wanted to keep their character continuity for the PT they would have to do Herbert and Stewie as Obi Wan and Anakin, and then most of the other FG characters wouldn't be around (Peter as Han, Lois as Leia, etc.)
Besides I don't think Seth MacFarlane actually cares about the PT. All his favorite references in his shows are from his '80s childhood. Plus they just aren't legendary enough for the parody to work as anything other than an expected continuation.
