Their first expansion locked out vanilla players of content that was previously freely available to them before the expansion dropped and gated the Platinum trophy behind a paywall

Then fans find on Bungie's site a job listing for a senior pregression designer for designing a progression system based around lootboxes in Destiny 2, implying they want lootboxes to be more than just cosmetic

They then reintroduced something called three of coins which increses your odds of getting rare loot but the boost in odds turned out to be negligible and another attempt at strongarming players into buying lootboxes which Bungie claimed was a bug

And finally during their Dawining event they added seasonal lootboxes with seasonal pieces of seasonal loot. That you can't get just by levelling up, you either buy them or do this ridiculous grind to get ONE and you can only earn 3 seasonal lootboxes per week due to a limit set by Bungie but you can buy as many as you want and this is across your account even if you have multiple characters you'll only get regular lootboxes even on those characters if you hit the weekly limit.

And if you still don't think that has anything to do with railroading people into buying seasonal lootboxes with real money, each seasonal lootbox only contains 2 random items out of 59 and with a 6 seasonal lootbox limit you can get by just playing the game, it is literally impossible to get every single piece of seasonal loot just by playing the game

Yeah, Im so glad I bailed on this franchise during the first game. It was pretty clear that Bungie didnt give a crap about people and only saw them as dollar signs. The level up throttling was a multiplier that increased experience for single longer non repeated activities while decreasing it for others

Turning it off made stuff like crucible super easily to level grind and Im pretty sure they didnt hid the doubling of values

The first expansion locked people out of weekly curated content that regularly includes new updated things.

Three of coins isnt negligible, its a flat 50% buff to youre pervious odds which means its only good with certain content

Everything else is basically 100% true.

Bunnies issue is they tend to only half communicate so when the players research something and find the complete truth, bungie doesnt control the narrative on something thats otherwise not a big deal.

He refused to listen to people when they told him that it was dumb to work for free for a haunted house event in hopes of getting promoted to a paid position (the place shut down). People that defend modern Bungie make me sad.

I bought the season pass for 1. First time ever buying a season pass. I also had hundreds of hours in it before the first expansion ever dropped.

First DLC comes out and it's mostly recycled game world. Literally some of the new missions were running through the same areas from the base game. I stopped playing. I didn't download any more of the DLC and deleted the game from my console. Haven't looked back. They lost my business right there.
