Yeah I found him funny as hell, but my concern is that it's going to be like Guardians of the Galaxy 2 -- more of what we loved from the original, but the "wow, where did that come from??" factor has already worn off so it'll just be more of the same stuff --- Not removing this until Pat Benatar is in Super Smash Bros. NYmasajista 12/19/17 9:59:25 PM #10:	I didn't see the movie but some of the old comics were pretty funny, especially when he was doing the 'odd couple' thing with Cable and Agent X was pretty good too. Theres also Wades nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that theyre not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Deadpool truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldnt appreciate, for instance, the humour in Wades existential catchphrase My common sense is tingling, which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenevs Russian epic Fathers and Sons. Im smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Tim Millers genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. And yes, by the way, i DO have a Deadpool tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. Its for the ladies eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that theyre within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.
