I mean I just asked Leon and Minwu shattered II's personal best (Gordon. 34/75) and also has the best placement of any of the NES games (Black Mage - 4th, and Cloud of Darkness - 13th, respectively)

She's gradually done worse every year since she won (19th, 21st, 36th, and 64th this year), but it was still pretty surprising for her to go out that early.

Though on it. Any random round Steiner Esq or KK or Den could have been gone, or any other variety of things and shuts you down early. That's why I'm not saying it's a guaranteed winning strategy at all. But it is something I think in the future once people can read the tea leafs and the lay of the land per contest may want to employ certain times for their main.

To be honest, I'm not sure if long distance trades will work in the future. It was hard enough to get trades even when it was very unlikely that a person would need to pay up. Now that a character has actually reached Day 90+ and collected on those debts, I think people might be even less likely to trade. The problem gets worse if there are multiple people trying to trade for late round saves.

Yes. I had definitely thought of the last part already. The chaos that could occur if alone of a sudden 6 people a year aren't trying it at once.

But if there are enough people it could also lead to having 3-4 absolute absurdly unbeatable juggernauts when we get to the Final 10 all of equal power, answer I think that could be a really fun format.

Imagine a god like Cecil or Zidane back by future saves.

Now imagine one time we have Squall, Lightning, Vivi, and Red Mage all at once in the top 10 backed up by future saves steroids. Is that not an incredibly fun Final Four with each of them having world beating power.

Finally we get to the bottom of it: MWC wants to turn SMFFFC into an episode of Dragon Ball (pick whichever version you want)
