The food is overrated, traffic sucks, weather is , closest major city is lanta, still a red state, rent is raising to NYC levels....it's ridiculous. 2). Denver, CO- I hate to tell you this but you aren't in the mountains. In fact, you might as well be in Kansas lol. In addition, this city is coupled with overrated food and too many hipsters. 3). New Orleans- This city is extremely dirty and full of *. The food was overrated as well. I will never go back :( 4). Raleigh, NC- I see this city pop up in every fastest growing cities list and I'm like ewwie. Wtf is in Raleigh? 5). Austin, Tx- Boring Geography check, loads of hipsters check, overrated food check, yawn!!! --- Him being greedy is a good thing. The food culture in New Orleans was probably really interesting back in the 1700-1800's, if just because of the potent French/Cajun influence at the time. But now it's mostly just gulf seafood, which is usually done better in a lot of other Gulf Coast cities. It's not like New Orleans magically gets better ingredients than cities like Galveston. With Austin I'm guessing you're talking about the BBQ being overrated. Hard not to be at some joints - the lines extend for hours. Doesn't mean it's not good though. I think it's mainly pointed to because of density of choices. The one thing I can really say about it is that it's a very clean city, you don't see trash or plastic bags everywhere. Houston has a better food scene and literally everything you want is there, but I hate driving around some parts of Houston (my car hates it too). Dallas/Ft. Worth area has been coming on strong the last 15-20 years or so. Houston has a better food scene and literally everything you want is there, but I hate driving around some parts of Houston (my car hates it too). Dallas/Ft.
