How much have you changed physically? Emotionally? How much have your ideals changed?

There are a lot of things that I've improved on, a few things that have gotten worse, and ideals that I've done complete 180's on. It's interesting looking back on how much eleven years will change someone.

Let's see. It's been a little more than a decade, but physically, I haven't changed much. Maybe more facial hair when I don't shave. Emotionally, I feel like I'm more emotional & less. Less about most things that deal with real life and stuff. Weirdly, I feel more emotional about usually fictional things(Games, movies, tv shows, etc. so basically things that pull the heartstrings while I'm watching). Ideal for me have always seemed to be all over the place.... and still are.

I'm taller. Was 5'11" my senior year and grew three inches between then and when I turned 21.

Emotionally I'm worse off.

Ideals? I don't have them anymore.

That's it.

Still introverted. No longer overcompensating with a fake bubbly personality. Was scrawny, now just skinny. Now learned about hard work, and the effort needed to succeed your desires.

Physically: Besides normal aging, I'm somewhere around 40 to 50 lbs heavier than when I graduated HS. But it's a good thing, I was very skinny and most of what I added is muscle.

Personality-wise, I'd like to think I'm a lot less cringey than I was in high school. I'm still kind of awkward, but looking back on HS me, I had a lot of dumb tryhard moments. But I'm also a lot less optimistic now that I've been through college and some poor career choices have left me feeling very far behind in my career.

I don't think I've changed much ideologically, though I don't describe things as "gay" or "r-word" anymore like high school me might have done. That's probably just maturity more than ideals, though.

I actually tried typing out the r-word, since when can you not even say it at all? WTF

HS me was your typical "classic rock is the only good type of music" edgelord. Nowadays I feel like all but a few classic rock bands are crap, though it depends on how much you want to stretch the definition of classic rock

Most of you probably would've disliked high school me.. I was a little narcissistic.
Plus, my sister used to call me Conan the Barbarian, but I've drastically toned down my workouts over the years, though.

Unfortunately I've become more introverted and jaded to the world. I was fairly outgoing and upbeat until maybe a few years ago.

I don't know what happened, but I pretty much dislike 70% of the people I meet nowdays.

I weigh less than I did in high school, I got rid of some bad opinions that were instilled in me by my **** family, I learned how to be more outgoing than I used to be when I have the emotional energy. I experienced some actual successes in my life that gave me self esteem for a while.

That went away.

I have multiple sclerosis now so I'm tired, uncomfortable, and unhappy most of the time. I'm much more depressed right now than I used to be. I literally lost my mind this year. I can hardly accomplish daily tasks and feel useless.

Life sucks.

physically? not much put on maybe 15 lbs and my hairline has receded slightly.

other than that i'm no where near as shy or awkward acting. i'm still not a outgoing person, but hell i've caught myself being the one to start up small talk with a stranger here and there since then. I mean back when I was in highschool I was so much of a introvert I couldn't even bring myself to talk to people even on this site where no one even knows my face, or my name for that matter I had a different account back then, used it so rarely I ended up forgetting the password. i'd log onto it long enough to answer someone's question if I knew the answer and that would be it.

I don't really think I can say my ideals have changed, but that I gained some. I didn't really have any when I was a teen. back then I never worried about tomorrow. just today, I did drugs back then and honestly didn't think i'd live this long. figured I would have od'd or drove my health down too bad before now. friends and family convinced me to quit though so here I am.

I'm a lot weaker than I used to be, in every way. I'm much less healthy. Less wise. I feel old as fuck, and it's only been 10 years. I've also traded in my idealism for being jaded and bitter about everything. I'm a shell of my former self.

weird for me, i'm stronger than I was in highschool but i'm betting i'm weaker than I was in middle school. I played sports back then, football and wrestling specifically. highschool is where that went to shit, but i've gained some back since but I doubt all of it since i'm not getting quite the exercise I was back then

Less idealistic, more practical. More likely to push an issue to get my way whereas in high school (and even college) I would often accept policy as an answer then bristle as exceptions were made for other people. I would also be less likely to challenge an issue although I've never been one to meekly nod in agreement when I vehemently disagree with something.

While some of my interests have changed, a fair number haven't. Even prior to high school, I was into stuff like Pokemon, superhero stuff, etc, and I still am (and, while I don't play CCGs any more, it's more on the matter of practicality than a loss of interest -- although the newer mechanics in a lot of the games I enjoyed suck). High school was really where some habits started to change, when I started to read less.

I don't think i've ever drank booze that came in plastic till I was an adult (cheap vodka, used for mixed drinks) well not by choice anyways, as a teen I would take anything free whether I liked it or not. that much changed as an adult, if I really dislike the beverage guess I just ain't gonna get drunk. I remember when I was around 16 though i'd get these 211's that came in black cans. 9% by volume and only a buck for a 24 oz. I don't see how I ever drank that shit, just a sip today would make me vomit. but as I guess as a teen with very little money, being about to get drunk for under 4 bucks sounded great. closer to 3 bucks and some change actually after tax
