ok, i'm going to put on my dunce cap and ask what exactly is a lawyering. I always thought lawyering was when something happened at the end that changed the outcome, thus causing the eliminated person to stay in.

YEah. I actually always thought that it saved that person too... otherwise what the fuck is the point of even finding A lawyering...

Yeah, if MWC's save had been on time, Noctis would've been eliminated, so the outcome was changed.

Actually, going back into the FFD era, that was the first lawyering in 332 rounds. The last lawyering before this was Jecht being lawyered out at 45th place in CXVI.

I know Ultros was lawyered out that contest, but not sure who in favor of. Might have been Vincent. Ultros has been lawyered out so many times it's hard to keep them all straight.

I think, technically, Vincent is the one who was lawyered, i.e. he would have been safe if it wasn't for an illegal save that was discovered.

I'm just using MWC's words for what he said would happen if Steiner missed a round. I don't believe it is anywhere close to 90% or that Cloud will even really be in any danger.
