The PS2 games are actually the original Gungrave material, and in Gungrave Overdose ~~Mika becomes a scientist and revives Brandon~~, and in the anime Mika implied ~~she wanted to study Biotechnology so she could help heal Brandon's wounds like Dr. Tokioka did~~ I guess, knowing a bit of the plot of Gungrave Overdose can help the Doom and Gloom ending of the anime be LESS Doom and Gloom. --- ~Nintendo 64. Well yeah but the anime is based-on only the first PS2 game (With a few changes), while Gungrave Overdose would be the events after. Knowing that he comes back in overdose is much more satisfying. I've only read a bit of summary of Overdose, haven't actually played it. It's only 10 bucks on PS3 PSN but I don't think I wanna spend my time with it.
