Garry the Goat, a traveling goat who travels around the country in Australia has DIED as the 6 y/o Goat's death was announced by its owner on Facebook.

The goat amassed a 1.7 million following and the owner had to put it down because it suffered a bleed from a tumour and hadn't respond to treatment.

The owner wrote "Gary died tonight aged 6 at about 10:30pm from euthanasia and vets diagnosed a bleed from an acute heart tumour. The vets drained it once but when it came back 24 hours later, we decided that Gary needed to go out peacefully and pain free instead of being conscious while he couldn't breathe"

A final video of the famous goat will be released soon after the owner finishes editing the clips of its final days on earth.

Pretty popular goat. Wonder if a GoFundMe would have saved it. With 1.7m followers, they might have been able to get enough to fly it to the US for treatment at the finest vet... or, I guess, use Australia's best vet.
