The missions they featured in the beta all played entirely differently from one another, and it felt like you were actually part of a mission and not just in a generic FPS set in the Star Wars universe. It felt more authentic and real than the 2015 Battlefront game. And they just ruined it. Absolutely ruined it with a very terrible character/class "progression" system and absurd unlock requirements and an abuse of microtransactions. Someone like myself might be under the impression that they're available by default, because that's how it was in the beta. And then there's the idea that, instead of listening to peoples' key complaints ("I paid for something, why do I have to pay more or wait to access it"), they are just adjusting unlock/purchase requirements, as if they're actually paying attention.
