It's not really a technology thing. The software just hadn't been developed for it to access streaming services yet.

doesn't explain why there isn't a web browser when the system is already built to play videos and can already run the most popular websites

but yeah can't wait for netflix to come since I don't have hulu
crunchyroll would be amazing, too

Hulu has a bunch of old Disney movies like The Fox and the Hound and The Black Cauldron. My son loves it on the Switch.

Sure it does. They just haven't developed web browsing software for it yet. A browser would be developed in-house, so you can't pin the blame on an outside company being slow, as you can with other media services, but the basic issue is still the same. I can also understand why they're dragging their feet on a browser, given that it's not that big of a deal (most people have a smartphone they can use for Interwebsing), and the Switch really needed a running start to gain a foothold after the WiiU's failure. I'm not at all surprised Nintendo would prioritize game development over utility software.

Software development sounds an awful lot like technology.

i honestly don't know why it took so damn long to get streaming services on the switch, especially given its easy architecture, ok?

i'm happy because i'd like to be able to watch streaming shit on my switch, instead of buying a tablet to do that, ok?

It pretty much already has one (sure, its lacking a usable shell, but its there).

They'll cave in sooner or later and make it available, but really, the Switch doesn't need that crap. Almost everyone has a device that's even more powerful in their pocket that can do all of these. Those who don't, well, tough. The Switch doesn't need to make toasts because some people don't have a toaster.

I really like the lack of clutter on the Switch and how the focus is just on game. Breath of fresh air compared to the other bloated platforms (eg: PS4).

Too bad it won't last.

Alright just got it. just to be sure, the first option is a free trial despite taking credit info, right? I'm a little concerned

also blame Netflix for not putting the app on there, it's not Nintendo's fault

the web browser is tho

EDIT: ok what the hell I'm trying to start but it keeps saying my info is wrong

does ot not accept debit cards? does it not accept PNC? Am I a dumbass putting the wrong info in?
