Thinking I might wait for Odyssey and Skyrim if there is a chance they might be marked down

that would entirely depend on the retailer, but first-party nintendo games don't budge much in general.

Skyrim might be marked down, since that's Bethesda. Odyssey I wouldn't count on, but it wouldn't hurt to wait and see.

3ds and wii u games maybe, but only 4 years or older titles.

Target, Best Buy and Walmart always have 1st party Nintendo deals on black friday.

Don't expect huge discounts, tho.

US Target recently had an online and retail sale of buy 2 Board or Video games and get one free. The only exception was Switch games.

Some do, some don't. I picked up an extra copy of Pokemon Y (or X? Can't remember which) for $20 at BBuy last year. I also picked up Luigi's Mansion:... moon something? for $15 at Target.
