Yeah, I have mine preloaded on PS4 ready to go.

Mostly for the campaign. I'll dabble in multiplayer but I haven't really played COD multiplayer much since Ghosts (and MW remastered if we are counting that, I only prestiged once and kind of stopped though). For all the others since I'd do maybe a handful of matches.

The campaigns however I always enjoy a lot (except Black Ops 3) and once I knew it was WW2 I knew I had to play it.

I have mine preordered but I can't load it up because I'm working for another 4 hours or so and I need to be on ubuntu and not windows.

A lot of time I spend working is waiting for other people to do things so that's why I am posting here.

I wouldn't say I got it mostly for the campaign, but I am one of those guys that always plays the campaign before starting multiplayer. Like you said, all of them but BO3 have had really enjoyable campaigns.

Campaign is going to be about 6 and a half hours.
The Zombies mode is two maps (one of which we know very little about and which requires being unlocked).
Multiplayer is ten maps. We saw five of them in the beta. They were all identical in layout, and so small in size that they could barely accommodate the miserly 12 player (6 v 6) matches which is the limit of match sizes.

The game is nothing like the original Call of Duty games. If you want to play it for the campaign, just rent it for console or wait for a sale of some kind if you need it on PC. If you want to play it for the multiplayer... you're throwing away a lot of money on something that's identical to all the previous Call of Duty games since MW3.

I'm on that as soon as it unlocks at 9:00.

I'll probably go Hardened first run through instead of Regular or w/e the default mode is. Regular just makes the campaign fly by. Also might give it a bit more of a WW2 feel being a bit more difficult for my first run.

I pre-ordered. I saw some multiplayer footage online and it did seem kind of lame, but whatever.

If the maps were a little bit bigger and the guns felt real it would be a little more enjoyable imo.

Once I heard that Normandy beach is a social area like the tower from destiny, and that you open loot boxes there and everyone can see what you get, I immediately decided against ever getting it.

Oh yeah didn't even mention my personal favorite part of the multiplayer which is that you can play as black female soldiers. I love how pissed off people get about that - some even threatened to cancel their pre-orders because of it on the Steam forums.

They're too small, now. Even for six vs six, it's a constant kill/get killed game without any tactics required.

The maps were perfect in blops 3. Treyarch's tri-laned maps were the best

I am LMAO at the player counts. Even combined it's getting beaten out by a slew of crappy survival sandbox games. Each component taken separately is getting beaten out by a Football Manager game, too.

Yes it is on Steam.
I know it's a mostly console driven game, but I am enjoying the fact that there were so many people talking shit online about how it was going to be one of the most played PC releases of the year, especially since it was a return to "boots on ground gameplay in the series' roots".
