17 y/o Annie Concannon from Ohio was in TEARS after her school said that her outfit was TOO SEXY for school as they have a very simple rule: the three B's. No Boobs, butt or belly button.

She's a senior at Turpin High school in Cincinnati who complied with all 3 rules as she wore a Fraternity t-shirt, a high waisted jeans and sneakers to school but multiple teachers have found her outfit too "provocative" and inappropriate as she was sent home by the principal.

The humiliating event and reaction from teachers had her sobbing and clueless as to what went wrong and has been receiving BACKLASH for it

She posted the picture on twitter with her outfit and a thumbs up with still a tearful face and said "I got dress coded for this outfit. I went into first period with no comments on my outfit but in my homeroom my teacher made a comment in front of my whole class and stating my outfit was inappropriate. I questioned her comment because i've worn that outfit in the past and it seemed completely reasonable to me. She then pulled me out into the hallway stating i should know better because i'm a senior and that i should not be making her the bad guy in this situation"

She struggled to understand what wrong as other teachers disagreed with her shirt displaying Greek Fraternitiy letters too..Then her homeroom teacher emailed ALL staff to tell her to cover up her top and her 3rd period teacher asked her to wear a JACKET.

Annie then burst into tears as she got frustrated with the situation as she's never been dress coded before..even some people on TWITTER had DEFENDED teachers stating her outfit was inappropriate!

She said there is almost no rules for boys at her school but the girls are completely over sexualized.

Annie is going to wear this outfit AGAIN because she said she ddin't violate the rules and will wear what's comfortable to her

What always gets me is that the students have to abide by a certain 'dress code' but the teachers don't. Case in point, when my daughter was in school a few years ago, she had a teacher that wore a midriff revealing blouse with belly button piercings (I kid you not)every day and nobody objected (certainly none of the other teachers mentioned it to me at any rate). When I objected to the teachers' attire (it didn't present a professional image) I was told that teachers are 'employees' and are given leeway as to how they can dress on the job, whereas students had to follow the rules. Stunned me because I was always taught that teachers were supposed to lead by example. And these are the same people that tell my daughter she has to 'follow the dress code' and send her home for wearing what they consider a pair of 'too short' shorts (which ends up being a subjective determination dependent on which teacher she gets in that class). I believe this is just another case of 'I have power; so you have to do what I say but not as I do' sort of thing which makes resentful and bitter about school and life in general.

Perhaps Uniforms for both Students and maybe Teachers would be better? That way it would not be a matter of each person's Personal Opinion of what is appropriate or not... It could help avoid problems like this...
