I mean it would suck and flop but it's something I figured Hollywood would be stupid enough to try

Dunkirk neither sucked nor flopped so it can't be a videogame movie.

Call of Duty makes for a ridiculously generic war movie.

Its campaign is only good by video game standards since it's a video game with the production value of a Hollywood blockbuster.

I'm sure a COD movie would be popular with the Steven Seagal crowd.

I didn't see it, but wasn't there a first person war movie or something like that not too long ago? Probably the closest thing to Cod

The only way a Call Of Duty movie would work and not be too generic is if it was a movie about the Zombies mode storyline from the Black Ops games.

I'd watch a Call of Duty 4 movie, as dumb as that would be.

It already exists and it's called Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and it was actually part of a trilogy.

I completely agree with that statement. The older Call of Duty games definitely feel like they were inspired by Saving Private Ryan.

Don't forget 3 and Big Red One. Nobody likes Call of Duty 3, but I was always fond of it.
