I'm actually curious though, did you seriously not know the dossier was funded by GOP "Never Trumpers" then by Democratic donors, who obviously had links to Clinton? None of this should be new knowledge to anyone who followed the story.

I'm amazed that The Admiral is even still on this site considering not only the user base dislikes him but the moderation team clearly has had enough of him. I mean at one point he seemed like an alright reasonable guy but the last year or two he's gone downhill bad and I sort of miss his old personality.

I had heard about it, but I brushed it off like I do most of the unconfirmed nonsense related to the Russia investigation. The fact that this one report was verifiable enough that WashPo felt it was time to publish it was newsworthy to me. And, apparently, them.

But there's nothing that's been released stating that this dossier was used by Obama to launch his investigation into Russian mettling in the election. The article itself states as much. There's also nothing linking the Kremlin to the dossier as a way to plant fake information, unless I'm mistaken

Edit: Unless you're referencing Comey and such using the dossier in their investigations, but I'm a bit lost on the timeline there and too tired to look into it. I'll agree on the optics stand point I suppose, but there's not any smoking gun here. Aside from Nunes and such basically admitting the dossier is real, which is a whole nother plethora of shit...and piss
