I always hear on here that you shouldn't wash it that often. I grew up thinking you should wash it everyday and that's just a habit of mine now. I try to wash it slightly less often now, but I end up feeling like I have to or else my hair will look like shit.

I got my hair cut short recently, so I've mostly just been conditioning instead. When I condition, it seems like a lot fewer of my hairs come out vs. when I shampoo, so I assume that's a good thing. But I don't know if I can keep it up once my hair gets longer. Another thing, besides the looks, is that when my hair gets long enough and I condition it, it always feels all weird afterwards like I can never fully rinse out the conditioner

I have really blond hair, so I have to wash it pretty much every day or it just looks bad. It just gets grayish brown and nasty, plus it doesn't want to do anything except stick straight up.

I'm gonna just try washing it once a week and see how long it takes before I hate the way it looks/feels when I don't wash it.

I always freak out that my hair is thinning after I get it cut, but I think it's just that it's so short and it only looks thin in certain angles. Once it gets around an inch+, it looks okay, but that's where I usually start washing regularly again. If the washing really is thinning it, then I guess I'd rather have messy but fuller hair than straightened up but thinning hair
