fultz's FT shooting form is new, too. I guess it's because of a shoulder injury that he does that now. it's gotta be in his head because he's been a joke for weeks now.

there's also talk that simmons shoots with the wrong hand. philadephia is all kinds of weird.

I'm more worried that Fultz's fat face. dunno why but that seems like a huge red flag

some quick feedback from what I've seen:

Denver/Utah - Denver is my dark horse pick this year. they look good this game but it's because they've been unconscious from 3. they need to guard better to become a good team.

SA/Min - I've only watched a little bit of this, but Minnesota just seems weird. like there's no identity to them right now and they're just taking turns. Butler takes a turn, then Wiggins, then maybe they'll get it Towns (big maybe). Spurs are playing with Kawhi and still seem like the clear better team. Minnesota has a long time to get used to it but I've been really skeptical on them.

Kings/Rockets - DeAaron Fox is fast and very likable. Kings are scrappy but not very good. their local feed also plays these hilarious 'older than Vince?' commercials that are super endearing. Houston looks like a team that just won the game of their life the night before and have to turn around to play the Sacramento Kings.

I was excited all day about opening night for the suns

I didn't even expect a win, but that....that was worse than I could have possibly imagined.

granted, the team did have 5 injured players at the moment, but that was utter trash.

ONLY bright side- it was probably mostly an anomaly....horrible shooting ALL the way around, dragan bender looked great on D and his most confident ever in any game I have ever seen, mike james continues to be a spark off the bench as the third string PG

I very much enjoyed the Kings competing tonight. There is promise and Fox has all the potential in the world, he looks like he will be a star. Buddy heild looked very good too.

However there was a very very stupid situation with about 25 seconds left where the Rockets lost the ball out of bounds and they checked to see who hit it out, and instead called a phantom foul after review which is not a legal thing for refs to do so I was pretty pissed there as the whole arena was shockedas well

or let him be the man on a mediocre team instead of #2 on a great team? you only see him really die in the playoffs in deciding games.

Was impressed by what I saw from the Magic last night. For the first time in a long time they seemed to actually put a shift in instead of so many players half assing it. Not sure Fournier will consistently be that guy getting points at the death though, I've seen it before and he's very hot/cold, last night he just happened to be hot.

I'd imagine Simmons will force his way into the starting line up over the year and Isaac will get more minutes but we looked better than I expected, people actually defended. I think I remember it saying we had 7 blocks by the 3rd or something, that's unheard of for us. 0 minutes for Hezonja is telling, looking like such a bust pick. Wasn't impressed with it at the time, certainly not now either

That's the first opening game we have won since 2012 too.

For some reason it always feels like it's was just a few years ago that the Magic were good but they've actually sucked for like 5 years now. Yet my mind still associates "Orlando Magic" with those strong teams of like 2009-10

this game is confusing. OKC looks super out of sync, even players who have played together for years like Westbrook to Adams

I dunno I think if you had Porzingis, PG13, Blake, DJ and Valanciunas you'd be good.

I have Westbrook in one line up and it's losing to my other one that's making me money. I'm still trying to figure out how to do the NBA ones though. Making calls like Larry Nance Jr. is what wins you money, tbh.
