My advice would be spend money on durables and outerwear, cheap out on basics.

I.e. stuff to spend money on:

- shoes/boots
- jackets/coats
- accessories

Stuff to cheap out on:

- pants
- shirts
- t shirts

Consider looking for a tailor. Wouldn't be hard for them to hem pants and shirts in when necessary.

when i let myself go for even just a weekend and gain 5 lbs it can take like 2 weeks to lose that. i have no idea how much hard work it takes to lose 100+ pounds.

i was on and off after a year in 2014. i kicked it into high gear 2016. between 2014 and 2016 i lost about 60 lbs, the rest has been from february of last year

monday thru friday i eat 1200 calories a day, get 30 min of cardio, drink at least 8 cups of water, and do strength training about once a week. weekends i dont count calories and instead of intense cardio i go for a walk for an hour or two

i also cut way down on alcohol. it's a slow process even when i barely eat anything

Oh yeah, it can be. What I've been doing is small adjustments to my lifestyle that I can easily maintain. I don't see myself doing intense cardio regularly, even though I should. I've been monitoring my diet by exercising portion control, trying to keep to less than 1500 calories a day. It's been a slow crawl so far. I'm not being demoralized about it though; I'm quite happy with my progress.

yeah just because it's slow doesnt mean it's not rewarding or that it doesnt feel good. you seem like you have a good attitude about it. even if youre not gonna do cardio i suggest walking. idk if it helps with weight, but it feels really good. used to be that id walk at least 10 miles saturday and sunday at a mad chill pace
