What did you guys choose for today's poll? It's a tough choice for me. I think in terms of "favorite" I'd have to go with Super Mario 64, but I've been playing it for 20 years so that's not even fair. Galaxy 2 is the best one. I can't believe Sunshine is in third, that one is the worst

I wish Odyssey was out tomorrow. It's gonna be a snowy day so it's a good time to play video games. I still have a few Kirby games left so maybe I'll play one of those since they're all really easy and short

Despite owning Galaxy and Galaxy 2, both of which I only played a few levels before quitting, I've really only played 64 and Sunshine, and Sunshine pissed me off eventually. So I guess it's 64 by default.

64 for me since I've just played it a ton. The Galaxy games may be better but I've probably put about 30 hours into them combined. I would definitely fuck with a remaster though

I was on board with 2D > 3D for Mario for the longest time until I played the Galaxy games and now it's a tougher decision. I guess Odyssey will be the deciding factor.

I have more of a love-hate relationship with Mario 64 than any other game I can think of. One thing I love about it is how much people have picked it apart and found crazy shit (like glitches). Same thing with Ocarina of Time. There was just something about that era, I guess. I know people do that stuff with some later games, but you never really hear about it.

The more modern games get the glitches patched out really fast, or just have better play testing thanks to the internet

Well, you didn't have console game patches for GC/Xbox/PS2 era, but those still don't seem very big in the glitching/TAS community. Not like that really makes a game good anyway, but I have to admit I've been oddly captivated by some SM64 and OoT TAS videos. Mainly SM64 because you can actually feel its flimsiness when you play it normally, but OoT is pretty polished

Is it Brave Exvius or Record Keeper? I'm still playing RK daily. It recently celebrated its second-year anniversary in the States. I never tried Brave Exvius.

Best 3D Mario is the Wii U one. I never played any others, but the Wii U one was really, really good, so I think it's fair to assume it's the best one.

Wow, that game was almost twice as long as Game 1.

I saw someone suggesting that they implement Streetpass on the mobile app they're gonna use for online. Something about that is... Unsettling to me.

Anyway I haven't played any of the 3D Mario games in a while but I remember thinking Galaxy 2 was the best one ever. I think I even said it was my favorite Mario game period.

I don't know when I'm gonna get around to watching it, but season 2 of Stranger Things comes out tomorrow which is cool. I remember when the first season was really big there being discussion somewhere, perhaps not here, about the predictably incredible Buzzfeed quiz for which character you are. I got Jonathan then and I got him again now.

I didn't see the first season of Stranger Things until 2-3 months after it came out. I don't think it will be anywhere near as long before I watch the second season. With it being the last weekend before Halloween I'm going to be busy with parties and trick or treating with my kids, I most likely won't see any of it this weekend.

Anyone having trouble with their switch? Mine closes down Mario kart and gives an error message every time I try to boot it up.

It did it with Zelda like 5 times too but now it works

Yeah, I've had joycon problems but I was always too lazy to send them in to get fixed. I haven't played mine in like a month but I know they got a new update, so I could see your issue being a result of that

I need a Switch... Want to play BotW, Odyssey, and the eventual Fire Emblem.

Though I'm enjoying Odyssey, it seems the left joycon desyncing issue has resurfaced for me, and I don't want that to put a damper on the game. I had like six months between BotW and Odyssey that I could have just sent it in, but I didn't bother since I never really had it happen to me after like the first week. Figures that it would finally happen again right when the next big release rolls around...

It's so expensive but if I do get my joycons fixed I might get one so I can play while they're out. It wouldn't hurt to have a second controller anyway

I don't know if it's really worth it because it's a lot of money obviously. But it is a really nice and comfortable controller.

I finally witnessed a Ravens win this season. The stands were absurd when Flaccco got hit. I was absurd.

The Dodgers are lucky it was only four with how hard the Astros were hitting it that inning. Some lucky bad baserunning and hits off the crazy wall in left center
