Like I get that it is one of the new mechanics in the game but it is getting silly with this guy

First I shot him in the eye with an arrow, then he comes back and I stab him in the chest, then later he ambushes me and I end up cutting off both his arms, he pops up what I assumed must be the final time because in that fight it ended with me cutting him in half across his abdomen. But no, I guess someone stitched him back together because he came back again while I was climbing up a cliff.

This last time I decapitated him so maybe that will finally do the trick. I like this game

It is still virtual orc killing simulator pretty much, but the orcs are much better this time around with fun personalities and more variety in their strengths/weaknesses

They also do a lot of commentary on how you play the game. For example I poisoned some grog and an orc ambushed me out of nowhere and told me I didn't know how to properly use poison and that I was doing it wrong, and proceeded to start attacking me with poison attacks

Yeah I remember in the first game I could never remember individual orcs.

Like apparently the last fight in the game is against your orc nemesis or something? But I had no idea who it was it was just an orc.

I've read of the singing Orc who carries a lute around and sings before fighting you. Supposedly there's also another Orc who actually comes up and apologies to you.

They definitely dialed up the resurrections in this game. Im in the same boat, Mead. Killed this one orc at least 5 times, dismembered him, cut his head off. Homeboy keeps on truckin.

The ambushes are bananas, too. I swear I get ambushed every 5 minutes.

Was stalking this one captain who was vulnerable to poison, but I didnt unlock poison attacks yet, so I was waiting for him to get next to some grog Id sabotaged. While waiting I got ambushed three fucking times. Twice by that same orc Ive killed a half dozen times who now looks like Frankensteins Uruk.

Fun game, though.

I read about the nemesis and resurrecting Orc system and thought it sounded really interesting. Are the various passives/perks unlocked by leveling up and are ambushes just random attacks that you have no control over even if you're hiding?

I don't remember people coming back to life in the first one. I remember having to kill myself multiple times during the fights to get orcs to level up so I could get better items or whatever.

Yeah ambushes seem random and by design you dont see them coming, they spawn in behind you even if you checked behind you a moment before.

Not sure if they can ambush you when youre hiding. Ill experiment later and see.

You don't see ambushes coming but certain actions seem to have a chance to trigger them

Sometimes when I summon my mount I'll get ambushed by a beastmaster orc that is immune to beast damage

Okay. Now I cant play this game. The singing orc immediately makes me fucking scared as shit.

The only way an orc survives and plays the lute is by being the most psychotic fucking orc possible. He probably makes lutes out of orc dorks and I seriously dont want to hear that tune.

he's one of the hardest orcs i have to fight. he blocks fucking everything, i can't vault over him, i can't stun him and he's goddamn arrow proof.

i have to fight the other mooks while avoiding him, just so i can do the wraith ground smash that does fire damage just so i can hit him a couple times
