Im pretty sure he didnt write that book. And even if he did, the money would have been taken. He wouldnt have earned anything from it.

He did eventually publish the book but I would assume you are correct though that any profits would have gone to the Goldman family.

Would it surprise anyone at this point if it was discovered that he was counterfeiting money in his basement?

In addition to his protected NFL money, I think he still does signings, appearances, etc. Even disgraced celebs find ways to make money on their celebrity. Granted, in his case, some of his appearances were canceled due to lack of interest.

Yes, his book about the murders *was* first blocked by the courts then the rights were given to the Goldman family who reap the profits. The profit arrangement is actually explained in the introduction or whatever to the book itself.

In general, there are laws preventing criminals from profiting from their crimes although it doesn't necessarily stop every book or film.

Why do you say that? Not all parolees are required to be teetotalers. From what I saw he is not barred from alcohol, just excessive alcohol.

Just checked he isn't. The last article I read had a dialogue between him and the judge and I recall him saying he wouldn't have an issue avoiding alcohol, since he's been away from it so long.
