We don't have that option here. In this country, the vehicle is insured for an entire year and is payable upon registration of the vehicle. Full insurance will cost about 1k USD and third party insurance is about 300 USD.

Uh... if I were to convert the amount I pay to a monthly rate, I guess it'd be $80 per month? Have pretty limited coverage and pay in full up front, so that helps.
When I first got my license and was on my parents' plan, mine was $300 a month, which was stupid. I know if my car ever get totaled I am not gonna get the full comprehensive or collision.
