Exactly, especially when politics is everywhere and with how personal people take their beliefs along with how nobody wants to be seen as wrong, you have a constant circle of rage, then you have the phones,tablets, portable computers and up to date beeps on the world and you've got a constant stream of things to be mad about and start going on a rant over on some two bit forum to pick that fight and sate that anger lust. It's a never ending cycle that won't end soon. Even more so when your religion,race and sexuality start to blend together with your politics, then it because a battle of your identity

You summed it up perfectly. At this point I feel most of them are too invested in identity politics for those reasons and now it's just a case of effort justification. No one wants to let all that "effort" go to waste.

Plus, anger is the best feeling emotion so I can't say I'm surprised in this shitshow people are doing what they can to "feel better".

This. In his apology he didn't even apologize to the reporter specifically. It was just grand standing for fans.

Also TC Cam never apologized to her, that's why it blew up. She went to talk to him after the press conference and he doubled down. Most would have been fine with the scenario you posted, but Cam wasn't man (and still isn't) enough to do that. So.....the scenario we have is different

I can see why Cam thought it was funny, but hes fucking dumb for saying it.

Like what tc said. If cam was just like "you know what, my bad, was trying to make a joke but it came across as mean. Obviously women know plenty about sports, i apologize." It would be done. But he's too proud to apologize and only did so once sponsors dropped.

This really isn't a big insult to hang onto. To me it just shows his true character (along with his many other antics) and I don't like him as an NFL player. And that's fine, not everyone is gonna like the same players. I just feel he's a a poor role model for kids

Actually, most people have this social disorder where they assume the worst in what people say. What Cam said could be translated in multiple ways, however 90% of the population decided to interpret it in a manner that assumes the worst about Cam so that we can tear him down. We really suffer from a "crabs in a barrel" mentality in America, and I'm trying to do my best to clean that up so that we can be a good country again.
