when he first became president I thought it was not too surprising given the alternative choice. Then he started doing nothing in office but make a fool of himself, but I thought maybe he'd take some time to grow into becoming a decent POTUS. Well he still hasn't really done anything. In addition, he isn't making things better with North Korea, shits on NFL players, acts like a baby when people don't want to visit him in the White House (Golden State Warriors), and makes a mockery of the situation in Puerto Rico.

and yet somehow despite all of this, he has so many supporters. Why exactly are they proud of him? He posts stuff like what meetings he's going to attend for the day (stuff that isn't out of the ordinary for a president) on facebook and you see endless posts from his supporters like:

"Thank you, president and first lady for being there for tor the American people. you showed so much love to the people of Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico, Las Vegas, and much more."

"President Trump, from the bottom of my heart, I, along with many people I know, thank you for everything that you do for us, and this country on a daily basis."

"All I got to say is what you have dealt with in a short 8+ months in your Presidency is more than most could have in a lifetime."

"He must be exhausted! Keep it up President Trump. Don't get discouraged. Those of us who support you will continue to do so with a smile."

I get that they're thanking him for doing his job, there certainly has been a ton of shit happen since he came into office. But jesus it's like they're trying to compensate for how little he himself has accomplished. what has he actually done or changed for the US? What are they so proud of him for? He's doing the bare minimum and people are treating him as if he's the GOAT president. I'm not one to get much into politics (i lean more towards the right if anyone asks), but this a funny observation to me.

Trump voters have always been low-information voters, for the most part. They've been told that most of the media is deliberately lying to them in order to make Trump look shitty, and Trump is bravely fighting against the lies and getting a lot done.

And since his voters actively repel information from non-approved sources, controlling them is very easy. It's actually kinda fascinating that a tactic like that still works in the age of information, but the joke has gotten old.

China is gonna become the new world leader it seems. America had it's time. China is actually doing some good policies to change things around. The new leader is doing a excellent job.Hope the U.S. can gain control back after 4 years of trump or hopefully trump steps up.

"Fake news" and "alternative facts" are pretty newly popular dude.

The only thing that's new about 'fake news' is the term. The attitude toward the media has been around in one form or another since yellow journalism was a thing and probably before that. Trump just dialed it up to 11.

No liberal is ever going to pay attention to Fox as a news source. They never did. And they'll certainly ignore any sources that don't come from one of the major news organizations even if those smaller sites provide sources to back up their claims.

Let's not pretend like the left is bi-partisan when it comes to media anymore than the right is.

The problem is that China may be on the verge of their own collapse. Ignoring their gross injustices in the political system, China has some major economic problems that are right around the corner. Not the least of which is its dependency on the US dollar.

Not to mention they still haven't forgotten the Korean War, when the US basically leveled the entire country. Trump is so caught up in their pissing contest he doesn't even realize he's doing exactly what Kim Jong Un wants him to by giving the NK population a "villain" to focus their attention on.

Which is why they are slowly switching over to gold as the standard for trade. As for all the gross injustices and stuff, i dont think any country is really innocent of that. Much less America's. But as of right now they seem to be on the right track.

Trump himself. He's twittered some very specific indictments against most of the major news outlets.

That's what I mean. The idea of "non-approved" news sources is stupid. I don't agree with Fox's bias any more than CNN's, but people need to decide for themselves. It's quite dangerous when politicians start directing people away from their own critics.
