There is Outrage after a video shows high school cheerleaders from Miami performing in a very CONTROVERSIAL PERFORMANCE that has left parents calling foul..

The video was recorded by a bystander who titled it "Is this appropriate?".

The main complaint was what these girls were wearing and how they went onto the football field that is drawing ire from parents who say these teenage girls greatly offended the audience who even had CHILDREN there..

Not outraged. Although I can understand WHY parents felt the way they did. As parents, they love their children and want to preserve their innocence for as long as possible. That's why even grown adults will always seem like children to their parents. Parents see their offspring as children.

These girls' costumes and routine were provocative and sensuality easily comes to mind. That puts parents off as they find it difficult to reconcile the innocence that they believe should still be there versus the sensuality and maturity these girls seem to desperately want to demonstrate.

Personally, I find the whole thing laughable and not worth taking seriously. The whole thing was tastelessly done.

I wish I had so much time in my life that I could be outraged at shit that doesn't matter.

to be fair they are sexualized outfits (they look pretty much like lingerie), which I can see why parents would be like "wtf". but at the same time these outfits aren't really any worse than typical cheerleading outfits that completely reveal the legs and you can see whatever is underneath those mini-skirts.

I don't think it was that bad...kinda like a burlesque performance.

I've seen worst/more sexually suggestive outfits/routines at some HS in the South I used to go to back in the day at football games/parades.

yeah, they're definitely too young to be wearing stripper clothes, ok?

Yup, its pretty much a parody of the burlesques/cabaret stuff from the 1900s or whenever.

Really, nothing to see here; just some young chicks playing Moulin Rouge...

Doesn't look that different from what cheerleaders and colorguard used to wear when I was in high school. If anything, they are covering more skin.

As a former professional child, kids never care about stuff like this, only adults do

I watched the film Heavy Metal when I was 4 years old and literally didn't even notice all the nudity because I was only interested in all the monsters and neat stuff
