The Internet was, essentially, a brand new thing gaining popularity and evolving. There was no Facebook or Reddit, Instagram, Snapchat, etc. GameFAQs was in its prime for what it was, and so were the boards. One thing I'd like to mention if anyone else remembers---we had a lot of voice recorders and people singing. I remember one song played with a guitar was uploaded that went something like... "What's that?! Is it a yellow strip? It's a moderated message! You better check it, you gotta check it, before you lose your precious Karma, your precious Karma... before you lose your precious.. Karma..." Could be hidden away on one of my hard drives somewhere, but I don't know. But now I'm old and jaded LUE just seems like it was a bunch of dumb kids with too much time on their hands, who are now all 30+ year old boring adults.
