Nothing wrong with a little unintentional adventure. It'll help you to become less picky, which is a good personal trait.

Usually its a different type of potato or worse a very slightly different menu item. But they have messed up my order in a slightly different way 4 visits in a row. And always just mine, never anyone else's at the table.

It got to a point where I was considering this. But no.

Anyway, rundown, its somehting like 5 in 6 btw because there was a time recently I ordered a steak M.Rare and it came back Well Done(Actually, Burnt is probably a better description).

First instance, Mashed Potatoes came to me as a Baked Potato.

Second, ordered a turkey melt(it has green chile on it as well). Came back as a Turkey Club(Which has mayo, which I cant eat, otherwise it would be what I would have ordered).

Third, ordered a meal which came with a dessert. Waitress just totally vanished and forgot about us after serving the meal. No dessert ever given. The manager or whatever at the front even just shrugged it off upon payment.

Fourth, today, ordered a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger, it comes with Onion Rings and BBQ sauce on it. Came back as a regular Bacon Cheeseburger(Regular onions on it, no BBQ sauce). At this point I've given up, checked the check. Wasn't charged for it. The waitress wrote the right order on her paper but switched it when she was putting the ticket together that goes to the cooks. So at least I wasn't charged for it. I was fed up but not feeling like dealing with it, so I didn't even mention it since I wasn't charged.

if it doesn't, you can repeat the process and after the 10th dessert fuckup you get a free appetizer

Its understandable its just...she even wrote it down correctly. If the paper got back to the cook I likely get the right burger. But they have to take the order and use a computer thingy to make a check that goes to the cook. And she clicked the wrong thing.

I mean, I get it, but still. Worst thing was it felt like they gave me more fries than normal just to further guilt me into not saying anything.

this would be the point of no return for me

if you've been working for hours and you mix up "turkey melt" and "turkey club" then it's understandable, mistakes happen, etc. I would probably still tell them "excuse me I ordered the melt" but not hold it against them

but if they straight-up didn't give me the dessert I paid for and the manager refused to do anything about it, I would not be back
