Because here in California, if you stay at a place longer then a month your considered a resident. I am jsut saying, 2 months is a long time and if she wants too, she can fight you on not moving out. Had that happen to my moms house before. luckily the dude and his crazy girlfriend went peacefully cause i offered them 3 days at a motel. I don't know the lady and she could be in a bad situation. Just saying you should take into account more stuff then just comfortability, especially if she is gonna pay a portion of the rent. Make sure he knows her well and isn't doing it out of a kindness impulse. Well he said this woman doesn't have a car and the lady who offered the room works 3 hours later than the woman who needs the room. I said who cares? She can take a bus. He said he doesn't really want her here but apparently the guy is trying to move in the new girlfriend and has been verbally abusing the lady at work because he also works there.
