What character comes to mind when you think of Jim Carrey?

His IMDB page:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000120/

I really want Jim Carrey back. He seems like not the best guy and a bit of a weirdo but man did he have some great movies. He was so much fun to watch (And he was good at serious stuff too) and I'm sad that we probably aren't gonna get that back.

I didn't watch some of his bigger movies 'til a while after they came out (still haven't seen Ace Ventura and kinda don't want to) but there are so many great roles that he's done.

Because I've watched the movie a ton and it's kinda just Jim Carrey I think i'd have to go with Bruce Almighty.

Any nominations going forward would be cool. I have a big list of 'em now but if you suggest someone on there they can move up the rankings and come sooner. Also, if you have any input on how to improve the topic, let me know.

Previous days (If you wanna participate):
Day 7: Tom Cruise
Day 8: Evan Peters
Day 9: Will Smith
Day 10: Robin Williams
Day 11: Adam Sandler
Day 12: Scarlett Johansson
Day 13: Chloë Grace Moretz
Day 14: Patrick Stewart
Day 15:Leonardo DiCaprio
>Day 16: Jim Carrey

Should I try to fit directors into these topics too? Like maybe every 10 (starting at 20 I guess) do a 'What movie do you think of?'. There are plenty of directors (like Scorsese, Burton, Spielberg) that have a good number of notable films behind them. I dunno, just a thought.

the joker.... seriously though I know he played the riddler but I felt he would have made a much better joker, just one more based on the animated series version as far as the style of humor went. I mean come on hes got the smile for it on top of the facial features.

other than that ace venturera or however its spelled

Maybe they'll have Leto be Robin turned into the Joker. Then they could have Carrey play an older (the original) Joker since Affleck is playing an older Batman.

in a way I wish, but I hate that robin turned joker plot. well I wouldn't mind it so much if it wasn't for the fact he apparently was a shape shifter

but hey, they just might since batman vs superman, was pretty much dark knight returns and death of superman mashed together with wonder woman thrown in for good measure

Cable Guy jumps to mind first, although I haven't seen it. Carry has usually had a dangerous manic energy to him.

Granted, my fave role is either Andy Kaufman from Man on the Moon (which I've seen clips from and absolutely loved; keep meaning to track down a copy), Ace Ventura, or the Riddler.

His Riddler was similar to Frank Gorshin's take.Once upon a time, most Batman rogues were pretty colorful. It wasn't until more recently when they tried to tone down some of them to make them stand out.

that being said I still think he would have done a better joker than any of the other movie jokers. hes got the face, hes got the humor, hes got the mannerisms etc. etc.

and i'm aware of the more colorful era of batman comics. don't care for em though, but there was even a comic panel I saw that pretty much straight used jim carry and tommy lee's version of the villains for a comic.

and I disagree with that dude being the joker. if you can't even shave your obvious mustache to play the role of a character who doesn't have one, you don't deserve the role. same goes to any actor who can't be bothered to change hairstyles/colors for a role.

edit: I do give him more of a pass on it though as that show wasn't to be taken seriously in any way as it where.
