act 4 of shadow of war now

i thought the grind was overblown when i was on the 4th fort defense mission after about 1.5-2 hours of playing and the quest line was at 50%.

then the 5th stage had me defending 2 forts. same thing with the 6th stage. and these orc attackers are getting higher and higher in levels.

i'm just expecting the following stages to have me defending 3 forts because fuck me i need to actually buy a premium orc loot box if i wanna finish this soon.

"the" gaf replacement is probably a bit redundant. this kind of thing is always a shit show. i know i talked my shit yesterday but i super hope they figure that out and all the displaced people find a home that is safe. so many replacements in these kinds of situations are insidious phishing attempts and cash grabs, even if the people behind them were once respected

Prey feels almost like Metroid Prime except you're way weaker. There's character upgrades (just got a hover pack), light sequence breaking with an ice beam knockoff, an atmospheric sci-fi environment, lots of backtracking when you get new ways to progress, and an enemy that infects and corrupts people.

That all goes out the window when you go outside into space though. Those sections are haunting.

GAF right now is shitpost central with community leaders throwing out life preservers in the form of individual Discord server links.

PMs we're limited to 1 per 10 minutes to limit the amount of organizing that can be done.

The main discord server is locked down at the moment but has over 2000 people inside including dozens of former mods.

Ouch, how far has Madden fallen? I remember it was above Destiny 1 the year that came out, so if Destiny 2 sales fell by half and still beat the new Madden, it must be doing even worse.

I'm not sure that's the takeaway here. The Destiny 2 decrease was only in retail, and I think a lot of people in that topic were vastly underestimating how much digital sales would increase over Destiny 1.
