Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Power Rangers View Results For years these two franchises have been compared (and even had a crossover at one point in time). Which one do you believe is the better of the two? I admittedly can't say much about Power Rangers because I haven't watched that past the third season (also saw the first movie), whereas I have watched every episode of the 1987 TMNT Cartoon, every movie, and the first couple of seasons of the 2003 cartoon. So with that said, I definitely have some bias towards the TMNT. I've been a fan of that franchise since I can literally remember. Heck, I even have a clip from an old family video of me singing the 1987 theme song whenever I was only three years old. I think they also released better toys, too. I also like that the team for the TMNT has always remained the same, yet stayed fresh throughout all of it's incarnations. It's always been a very balanced group with each turtle bringing a different attitude/personality to the table that compliments the others. Granted, that'll arguably change if they do go forward with plans for a series of films and a film continuity. Redmage807 posted... I've seen most or all of the turtles 80s, and 2003, and maybe a little bit of 2012. I think if Michael Bay was involved in this movie(like he was in Transformers and Turtles) it could've been at least slightly more exciting to watch. This movie could've needed another explosion or two. Even the latest TMNT movie was better Power Rangers(2017). It's MB's Transformers bad which, while bad, still manages to make tons of money -- almost $500m, 4x its budget -- whereas DBE didn't even turn a Hollywood profit (ie, double its budget) Granted, DBE is entertaining in its own way.
