Directly in the cone of death. It's not supposed to be a cat 5 when it hits us. Power's definitely gonna go out, but my house is old and solid as hell with good shutters and I don't live in an area that floods typically. We've got a generator to run an AC for sleeping and the fridge. Neighbor's got a gas stove and I've got a gas water heater. I'm worried about debris fucking up my old ass Oldsmobile I inherited from my dad.

I'm in Fort Lauderdale. The last Cat 5 hurricane I remember getting was Wilma, and that caused me to miss about 1.5-2 weeks of school. My mom and I have a flight booked to Jamaica, so we'll see how it goes.
