Here's where Admiral mistakenly believes that liberals don't work, literally based on nothing.

Not liberals, but BLM and Antifa members. There is a reason the Unite the Right rally was on a Saturday while BLM rallies get scheduled for Tuesday mornings.

Because people can't take time off from their jobs.

Lol, are you suggesting there has never been a BLM rally on a Saturday or right-wingers never demonstrated on a weekday?

You are also suggesting that people don't work on Saturday.

Lol, ridiculous.

funny how after making your strawman you are upset Admiral made one that perhaps stereotypes you or some people you like

maybe instead of reading a comment and thinking "how can I SPIN this to make it not seem correct!"

think instead "is there a logical factual way I can argue against this?"

plz explain to me how an employer seeing an employee on tv blocking traffic and causing other employees to not be able to come to work is not a justifiable firing offense plz

can you actually do it? by that I mean create a logical argument?

so again

you have failed to provide a counter argument

you keep back pedaling to trying to make it seem like I am equating this with charlotte which is a strawman

in other words, blocking traffic is a firable offense for many reasons and you have no choice but to concede this

but because this is blm doing it, you don't want to openly concede and infact want to oppose the idea completely trying to drive up empathy via strawman saying

"guys, it might be something you can rightfully be fired over, but it isn't as bad as this other thing so lets ignore it! Ignore the logical point that was made! therefore there is NO reason to fire blm protestors because I said ignore the logical point!"

wow

Depends on the specific situation, but I also don't view those groups as being equivalent to nazis

Basically this. If the individual was caught performing violent acts, throwing shit, or making calls for violent action, then I would probably can them if brought to my attention. Because an office environment doesn't need people who would resort to those sort of criminal actions, even if they were against white supremacists. It's never okay to assault someone unless it's in self-defense. It doesn't matter if the person is saying shit.

The biggest difference between the Antifa protesters and the white nationalist protesters is that the Antifa camp at least in theory isn't protesting around the idea of hate. Their protests often turn violent too often for my liking, but the core idea of people having equal rights, that we shouldn't be racists/sexists/homophobic, and the fascism is bad are fundamentally good ideas. For that reason if an employee was participating at an Antifa protest and there was no evidence that he or she was participating in any violent or criminal acts, I wouldn't fire them. I'd fire someone at a Neo Nazi rally just for being at a Neo Nazi rally. My workplace doesn't need that sort of hate-filled beliefs.

Kind of.

Antifa: 100%, even throw the ones videotaped in prison

BLM: it depends on the rhetoric used. Some people in that movement have advocated violence towards police and white people. They are the ones I would target.
