The death of that girl is unfortunate but can I remind you that the guy who killed her was acting on his own. The daily stormer never called for violence if I recall.

Edit: I'm not defending the Daily Stormer, I'm calling out the questionable reason of why they're being terminated. I do not agree with their views in any possible way.

They and sources like them like to subtlety incite violence. They don't directly tell their audiences to be violent but give hints and nods. Just enough that they can deny everything.

I oppose the censorship of free speech, no matter how offensive it is. That said, GoDaddy has the right to refuse service to them - they can just host their obnoxious content somewhere else (or host it themselves).

If you want to broadcast to the world your hatred and zealotry, go for it. Just be prepared for the social consequences. Banning people you disagree with is never the answer.

Did you even read the article that you posted? Maybe the site does say that they are against violence, but you don't need to explicitly call for violence in order to incite it.

I'm not coming to the defense of DS - they're truly reprehensible. That said, the drivel they pump out is no more horrendous than the shit Charlie Hebdo puts out - the only difference is which side of the political aisle it comes from.

If fucking world leaders can march for Charlie Hebdo's right to horribly offensive free speech, that needs to extend both ways.

I believe that they should be able to write their dumb hateful crap all they want but they crossed a line when they pissed on this woman's body while she was still warm. They are trying to justify a murder. Them saying it was ok that she was killed because of who she was is promoting violence.

I didn't read the article. I don't feel like it's necessary in this situation and I don't want to visit that site because I'm afraid I'll be added to some list.

Even if the first line is "Just kidding. Her death was a tragedy and she and her family have our condolences" that headline is so slimy. I can't even imagine the kind of person who would publish that.

They aren't getting closed down. Godaddy is just refusing to host them any more. They are free to move to a different hosting service or host the stuff themselves.

There's no contradiction here.

TDS's free speech isn't being infringed on. They're still free to air their vile views. It's just that companies aren't obligated to host them.

Similarly, Charlie Hebdo are free to air their views, even if people disagree with them doing so (as I do), but again, companies don't need to give them a platform. If their hosting company decided one day that they don't want to do so, then I wouldn't see an issue with that either. Them being gunned down by terrorists is just a teeny bit different.

While I think one could make an argument that simply existing as a white-supremacist echo chamber, where they discuss how they are superior to the other races and and the threat they pose (ie. white genocide) could be considered inciting violence, I say it's a much easier argument that justifying the death of a person killed by a white supremacist within 24 hours could definitely be considered inciting violence.
