I probably wouldn't snitch on a known member of some kinda criminal syndicate, but if I found out someone was behind something abhorrent (murderer, rapist, human trafficker), I'd call the police on them quick

I don't really see the need unless someone is being directly endangered. If someone is committing a crime or something and no one is endangered and I know them, I don't have a reason to involve myself. If someone random person on the street is being mugged or attacked, hell yeah I'll call the police.

I would inform on people in the right circumstances and as I understand it being a snitch is pretty much "any snitching for any reason makes you a snitch" so by that metric I am one.
