Good job; given it is fortune 100, I assume how recognition is rewarded probably is set by corporate standards/maybe even a portal. My company, for instance, would not be able to just give a raise outside the standard once-a-year fiscal year reset, so a partner couldn't just say "Good job, here's a 2% raise/$2k bonus." The only avenue they have is to give recognition with specific dollar amounts.
