Outside of Fantastic Beasts?

Idk, I do think eventually the stage play will be adapted into a two part film. With the original cast, in the next 10-15 years they'll age into playing the characters as depicted in the play.

EDIT: By original cast, I mean original cast of the movies (Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson etc).

The original cast of the play was different obviously. I was clarifying in case someone thought I meant the West End or Broadway cast.

The only way I'd be cool with remaking them would be as a TV series. One season per book. Don't leave any shit out, plus Rowling can add even more to the story.

They could do SS and COS as season 1, POA and GOF up to Harry's name coming out of the goblet for season 2, rest of GOF for season 3, then the last three books each get their own season

I would prefer the first two as a single season. PoA and then the Quidditch World Cup (Up the end of the final not the part afterwards) as a single season. The rest of the GoF as a single season. Then the rest of the books as a season each.

The Goblet of Fire season would likely be the shortest season, but I think if you show all the champions doing their challenges, you would get it to be a decent length.

Sure. 1 season per book and 1 episode per chapter.

That'd only work if the episodes were like 22-30 minutes. And it'd only work for some chapters cause that would be too long for some (like the first chapter of SS) and too short for others or wouldn't fit the format of the chapter.

For a tv series to work as you proposed, you'd have to basically rewrite the books and structure it differently.
