hell why is there so much FNAF Merchandise to begin with?

it's kinda sad that a jump scare simulator gets all this fame and glory but another indie title that was just as big upon release(Undertale)didn't even get funko pop's

Because the creator fleshed out the universe and backstory enough to make novels, and chose to develop merchandise for it.

Everything ever should have merchandise... I'm actually surprised there's so little of it in general.

I might find some FNaF and Minecraft merch and that's it. Occasionally there's a Terraria figurine.

I mean, like, Braid didn't even get merch

Because money. If you have a highly marketable game, you try to expand how you can because it gives you more money while increasing your brand exposure. Granted, it's a little weird to see toys down the children's aisle, especially in light of that Django Unchained toy manufactroversy some years ago.

still there has to be people buying all this to justify so much merch for the jumpscare coaster

each game that came out was not as good as the last until eventually it was just "eh sister locations out? meh"

Because it makes money. And then you take some of that money to produce more merchandise to make you more money. Then you repeat the process until it stops making you money and you move on to something else.

That is like business 101.

Eh, I would say 2 is better then then 1. 3 was kind of bad, and 4 felt a lot like 2 just with a different setting. Sister location was easily the best though.

Although I still think The Desolate Hope was a much better game then any of the FNAF series.

Apparently 4 years is ages now...

Plus Pokemon is an almost 20 year franchise in the states at this point. I could easily see why that is starting to die down. Most of the people who grew up with it are in college or just starting to become adults, and therefore don't have a ton of disposable income.
