I could go on and on about how i feel about social media once people stop using it as a tool. Basically, once abused, it gives you a false sense of community/belonging/isolation.

Its strange but theres a lot of discussion on the topic already. Idk, i think its a good thing to an extent but bad once someone turns into a selfie posting machine. Not as bad on things like facebook but it is on instagram and what not. Its always a plus if you already have a bloated ego but negative if youre more prone to depression.

Because of the various sites hypocrisy. They will ban/suspend you for off-color or non pc statements but will allow open calls for political assassination. I'm speaking of FB in particular

Because it promotes being social, and I suck at that. I much prefer the message boards here, just toss out a post and leave it, come back later and maybe someone responded and maybe they didn't.

Its highly annoying to those of us a that don't use it much, cos everyone is clamoring for online attention and spewing meaningless crap. And we remember the days when being social ment interacting with other humans like physically and verbally. Sigh.... the fools
