While we have trade relations with China and both nations are mutually dependent, we have conflicting global strategies and China at the government level state-sanctions cyber-terrorism and espionage. They're routinely a bad faith actor who illegally conducts trade, manipulates currency, doesn't respect copyright law, and either conducts or actively encourages the hacking of foreign businesses.
