What's the worst video game you own? Games you've just played but don't own, don't count. Also don't say things that are actually really good, like don't say Mario 64 for example, just because you don't like it.

I got the idea for this Topic from todays GameFAQ poll "How bad is the worst game you own?"

I say it all the time but probably Operation Darkness.

I enjoyed it and thought the story was interesting to perfect enough but it was a mechanical mess. The combat pretty much relied on an autorecovery skill that would eat a health item whenever a character died. Weight and speed were so important that you were often better off giving characters swords to run around with, and the difficulty curve jumped all over the place.

It's a poor man's Valkyria Chronicles. I loved it, but it's the most jank game I played.

Hour of Victory is actually the worst but I purged that from my memory.

At the moment? Oneechanbara Bikini Samurai Squad, Bullet Witch or Infestation: Survivor Stories.

I purge my collection every ten years or so, but I've owned a good cross section of some of the worst ever: ET, Raid 2020, Action 52, Shaq Fu, among others.

Tough.

Bubsy 3D is a stinking turd.
FIFA '96 (32 bit) is borderline unplayable.
Monster Truck Madness just plain pissed me off.
Carmageddon 64 though takes the biscuit I think though. I can't think of a single good thing a out it.

Well damn. I've been wanting to try Onechanbara, and I just bought Bullet Witch the other day.

Consider either going way back to the PS2 import titles if you can find them, or skipping ahead to Onechanbara Z2 Chaos. The former had a charming minimalism as they were designed to be budget titles, and the latter is the game they were clearly trying to make with Bikini Samurai Squad.

Bullet Witch is not without its charm, and it's hard to imagine you won't get your money's worth. But it's also hard to imagine you spent more than $8.50 on it.

The other topic exists, but the worst game I own is probably McFarlane's Dark Prophecy. However, the most iconic "worst game" I own is Aquaman: Battle for Atlantis.
