Video games and movies are better than watching these 2 series.

Either are better than Game of Thrones.

Tv series on networks like HBO are literally as good as, if not better than movies today. Get with the times.

I'm fine with watching things that are more in tune with reality like, The Bridge at Remagen (1969). Great movie about WW2.

While I agree with saying films and video games are better than TV series I still enjoy TV series like Game of Thrones. Just as I enjoyed Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy.

My 8 year old nephew put on Walking Dead at our house a few weeks ago.
i watched for 5 minutes then said, "so this whole show is dead people trying to eat living people"
His response was, "Yeah. Pretty much."

They both appeal to the lowest common denominator. Start with zombies, add a handful of model caliber actors, throw in some non-essential nudity to distract from the less than stellar plot lines and viola! You have yourself a hit show.

I watch Walking Dead, but never watched Game of Thrones. Fear the Walking Dead is trash though. I started season 3, and sort have given up on it.

You, TC, don't like it just because it's popular. And that makes you an asshole. The world is so much better when people find something good they enjoy and people support that for those people so they can continue to enjoy it for as long as possible. Pointing out that it's not an enjoyable show without being constructive is like going to some beautiful piece of art and just tearing it to pieces so no one new can enjoy it or return to enjoy it. You're literally just destroying things. You offer nothing artistic of your own to fulfill people's lives and bring happiness and beauty.

Someone else spent money, time, and skill creating this beautiful thing (the shows) and you just want to walk over and defecate on it simply because it's a beautiful thing that you don't enjoy.

I think it's bc they're insecure and feel like they're missing out on something everyone likes so they have to bring it down to feel better about themselves

Too much. I normally watch anime... and most of them are 12 episodes of 24 minutes each.

I have 5 or 6 books here. If the books are that good, 3 weeks max I read all. Well, I read Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows (784 pages) in 1 day.
