Lokarin 07/20/17 5:02:08 PM #1:	My R9 360 has been overheating, and so I downloaded stuff like SpeedFan and MSI afterburner to see if I can fix the problem... Umm, they can't, 'cuz when I tried the "test the GPU in another PC" I found out the fan is physically broken - one of the blades fell off at some point and now it spins very selectively. (probably as a safety feature). Anyways: Current Video Card is, naturally, the R9 360 (although after the latest patch it's being reported as an R7, but the label and engravings/embossments? on the card physically say R9. Naturally, I'll be checking gpu-passmark, but I was hoping there was some sort of "meta-card" that everyone just auto-uses when they don't care. I don't need super-super settings, like multi-monitor support. --- "Salt cures Everything!" But anything that pings on the 3D spikes the heat up quite rapidly. I have the luxury of a nice chilly air conditioned room so simple ... convection? Will keep it from redlining. It looks like my top options are: GTX 980, 960, 950, 1050/Ti, and of course - just replace it with another R7/9 360 --- "Salt cures Everything!"
